Our Story
We started with a sole. Literally.
Our founders built Zhivago from the ground up in Egypt, learning how footwear is made at the highest level and applying that knowledge right here. The materials, the construction, the difference between a shoe you buy and a shoe you live in. All of it made in Cairo.
Zhivago launched in 2017 with one belief: that Egyptian craftsmanship, done right, can make something the world wants to wear. We were right. Today, 250,000+ people across Egypt and beyond have chosen Zhivago, not because we advertise the loudest, but because the product speaks first.
Over time we expanded. Footwear became the foundation, and on top of that we built clothing, bags, and accessories, all designed to live in the same world: warm, intentional, comfortable without compromise.
We are in Marassi and Mall of Egypt, District 5 and City Centre Alex. We ship everywhere. But the feeling of a Zhivago product, the weight of the leather, the way a slide follows you through a full day, that is made in Egypt.
